Delete Account
You can delete your Wordilla account and its data yourself, from inside the app, at any time.
Delete in the app
- Open Wordilla and tap your avatar (top right) to open Profile.
- Open Account → Delete account.
- For security, sign in again with the same method you used (Apple, Google or email and password).
- Confirm. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your learning profile and settings for every language
- Your saved words, photos, scanned texts, stories, listening texts, grammar lessons, speaking analyses and Filiz progress
- Your personal word cache and your entry on the discovery leaderboard
- All files you uploaded
Data is removed from our systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.
What is kept
- Anonymous contributions to the shared dictionary (words, translations, counters) that are not linked to your name
- Crash reports, which contain no account information, for up to 90 days
- Purchase records, which are held by Apple, not by us
Subscription: deleting your account does not cancel an active Premium subscription. Cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, otherwise Apple will keep charging you.
Can't access the app?
Email support@wordilla.app from the email address linked to your account and ask for deletion. We will verify it is you and delete the account within 30 days.
