Learn eight languages
by listening.

Wordilla is built for the B1–B2 learner most apps leave behind: real listening, real reading, real vocabulary — hand-built content with natural audio in every language, A1 to B2.

The gap

Most apps stop being useful after A2.

Once you can order a coffee, the gamified path runs out. What an intermediate learner needs is volume — hours of listening, pages of reading, thousands of words met in context — with the same depth in every language.

Wordilla is that volume. Every story, dialogue, example sentence and headword is written per language and level, validated by language-specific checkers, and voiced with natural speech.

Audio is the method, not a feature

How a learner moves through one listening item

1

Listen first

No text. Just the story, in a natural voice.

2

Listen with text

The transcript appears; level-appropriate words are underlined.

3

Tap any word

It lands in your notebook with definition, IPA and audio.

4

Check comprehension

A short question closes the loop.

Library

A library you browse like a streaming app.

Listening and story items across 6 levels × 10 interest areas, each with cover art, audio and a comprehension check. Pick what you'd actually want to read, at the level you're at.

Create with AI

Pick a topic and a level and get a new story — written and voiced — in seconds. Your own interests become your curriculum.

Notebook

Vocabulary that follows you.

Any word you meet — in a story, an exercise, or outside the app via the share sheet — is saved with its definition, IPA, six-level examples and pronunciation, then enters spaced-repetition training. A home-screen widget keeps the hardest ones in view.

Studio

Nine ways to practise what you've heard.

Riddles, scene description, street mode, grammar drills, story tangles, word arena — exercise modules for speaking, listening, reading and writing, content-complete in all eight languages. Beginners start on Filiz, a guided A1 path with phrases and two-line dialogues.

Built by one person

Hand-built, independent, made to last.

Wordilla is designed, developed and content-led by a solo founder. Self-funded, no investors — built to be operated for years, not flipped. Content is complete for all eight languages; the app is in TestFlight and launches on the App Store in early 2027.
